5.53 Driver Update Status Monitor Update
Epson have posted updates to the driver and status monitor (thanks Nil for the headsup) - not sure what improvements/fixes they might include as no readme files appear to be included. Both installed ok.

I hadn't visited any Epson site for some time - it's good to see some useful and easy to find FAQ's available regarding the printer. e.g.ICC profiles that are included with the Pro 4800 are labeled by their acronyms. Is there a list that explains these acronyms and their definitions?
How much ink is used during the switching of black ink modes?
Why are some of the paper types grayed out?
Why is the Advanced B/W setting grayed out in the driver?
There's also a handy 'Solve the problem with...' area. Even experienced users might find some interesting info there. Check out the 'Something Else' area for the official Epson line on well... something else.
