Magic's Newsgroup is an attempt to provide a spam and flame free environment where people of all skill levels and ask questions and share information relating to imaging and web design

WHAT TOPIC'S ARE APPROPRIATE FOR DISCUSSION?

Any Imaging or web design issue. The only specific application that is appropriate is photoshop. The newsgroup can also be used as a place to ask questions or provide feedback on the tutorial projects in the workshop.

WHAT ABOUT SPAM?

Each day the newsgroup will be checked for posts that are outside the limits of the discussion topics, with those messages being deleted. If you wish to spam save it all up for the public newsgroups!

WHAT ABOUT FLAMING?

Aggressive behaviour  of any sort is not appropriate in this newsgroup. Similarly pointless threads/arguments e.g. 'windows vs mac' are not appropriate here.

CAN I TELL SOMEONE TO RTFM?

No. Think it as much as you like, but everyone has the right to ask any question they like - some people learn better that way!

ARE THREADS ARCHIVED?

Yes. At the end of each month all messages are archived. They can then be searched and retrieved if need be.
